Hispanic Capital Group

In 2020 I co-founded Hispanic Capital Group, as my co-founders and I saw the need to create a more accessible path for Hispanics/Latins to break into the financial industry due to the huge underrepresentation. HCG is an intercollegiate student-run nonprofit investment fund focused on educating members on the field of finance through an actively managed portfolio and networking opportunities. We pioneered this initiative to empower Latinos and Hispanics through developing an educational program and providing them with an opportunity to invest and manage a portion of the fund. We hope to create a community of Hispanic leaders that will continue to grow and influence the culture in the financial services industry.

I have onboarded advisors and led a board of 15 students across 13 different top universities in the United States. Currently, working with the VP of Marketing, Outreach, Growth, Technology and Finance to create strategies for current recruitment, growth, and company sponsorships for the investment fund this year. I have onboarded our sponsors including, Fidelity, D.E. Shaw, Vanguard, McKInsey and Company, and more.
